Our Tennessee hickory is locally sourced from Middle Tennessee Lumber in Burns, Tennessee — a family owned mill that has been kiln drying and grading Appalachian hardwoods for generations. Two Tennessee family businesses, one beautiful product.

The Puzzle Rocker Kit is a 50+ piece interlocking wood puzzle — an exact miniature replica of a full-size rocking chair that's been in our Tennessee family for 50 years. No nails. No screws. No glue. Just solid Tennessee hickory and your own two hands.

This is a three-act experience:

First, you release each piece from its hand-cut hickory panel and sand it smooth — a satisfying woodcraft experience before the puzzle even begins.

Then comes the challenge — assembling 50+ interlocking pieces into a perfect miniature rocking chair. We rate it a 3 out of 5 on difficulty — enough to make you think, not enough to make you quit.

Finally — and this is the part nobody expects — the leftover hickory panels make exceptional smoking wood. We've included our Tennessee Hickory Smoked Pork Loin recipe and Tennessee Hot Slaw recipe. Because in Tennessee, nothing goes to waste.
